Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for an agile, goal-oriented Account Executive in the US, who has many years of organizational sales experience in the healthcare, medical IT, Pharma, and/or Biotech research sectors, primarily in the field of software-based solutions and related services. As a senior-level sales expert, you will generate complex sales processes and tenders, from lead generation through professional and business consultations to the realization of Aiforia’s solutions.
The ideal candidate is an excellent negotiator and communicator, extremely proactive, successful in building relationships and developing business, and ready for new challenges in the field of novel technology. You are able to work simultaneously as a team player and independently.
The Account Executive enjoys working in a fast-growing market, and frequently travels internationally to visit clients and to represent Aiforia in exhibitions and trade shows. Lead generation comes from a healthy balance of targeted prospecting, leads from marketing and trade shows, and by growing existing customer accounts. While these leads often start as small footprints, you will evolve them into expansive, multi-year agreements.
In this role, you will be an important member of our global sales team and will closely cooperate with your own teammates as well as colleagues from the science and development departments to achieve joint success in the field of Aiforia's artificial intelligence-based image processing applications and services.
Further responsibilities include
As an Account Executive your main duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Manage and execute direct and indirect sales of Aiforia’s solution and services portfolio in the clinical, preclinical and research business verticals in the US
Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives
Maintain and document sales activities in CRM and forecasting
Strategic account planning
Manage relationships with KOLs, customers, and sales channel partners
Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Aiforia products and technologies, competitive products, and industry trends
Report to Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in any of the below fields:
digital pathology
medical image analysis
healthcare IT (LIS, IMS)
High touch account management, value-based sales experience in a complex environment
Understand cloud-based application and services
Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales goals and targets
Extensive client relationships in healthcare or in medical research
Consultative sales approach
Fluent in spoken and written English with excellent verbal presentation skills is a must
Excellent communication and customer management skills
Ability to work in a multi-cultural team
Possess residence and work permit required for the applied job
Educational Requirements
MSc or BSc degree for any of the following: economics, engineering, business management, bioinformatics, medicine, biology
What is seen as an advantage
Knowledge and experience in the field of digital pathology
Expertise or sales experience in artificial intelligence (AI) is a plus
Experience in selling PaaS, SaaS is a plus
Knowledge and experience in IVD market is a plus

Hybrid/Remote work (Northeast US, EST). Must have US permanent residency.
